Hiking

Hiking through orchards and vineyards, mountaineering or climbing in the Mendel Mountains or in the southern part of the Dolomites. Hiking enthusiasts will find hikes of all levels in Tramin. From an easy walk through the orchards (starts directly in front of our house) to longer hiking tours to the via ferrata on the Roen.

• Choleraweg trail (length: 3,5 km, difference in altitude: 75 m)
• Towards the Lake Caldaro (length: 4 km, difference in altitude: 50 m)
• Excursion to Kastelaz – Cortaccia/Kurtatsch (length: 7,7 km, difference in altitude 260 m)
• Excursion to the mountain inn Gummererhof (length: 7,6 km, difference in altitude: 470 m)
• Excursion on the Lochweg to Corona/ Graun (length: 9,1 km, difference in altitude: 600 m)
• From Termeno to San Giuseppe al Lago/St. Josef am See, through the Gorge Rastenbachklamm a Altenburg, towards the mountain inn Gummererhof and back to Termeno
• To the mountain hut Überetscher Hütte and the Roen (length: 9,1 km, difference in altitude: 1.880 m)
• from the mountain pass Jochgrimm/Passo Oclini to the Weißhorn/Corno Bianco (difference in altitude: 315 m)

Cycling

South Tyrol has an excellently developed bicycle network. Explore the country on two wheels by

• cycling through blossoming orchards on a pleasure bike,
• climbing South Tyrol's mountain passes on a racing bike
• or conquer the peaks on a mountain bike.

Swimming in the

• Tramin sports and adventure pool,
• in the nearby Lake Kaltern (3 km),
• in the two Montiggler lakes (17 km)
• or in Lake Fennberg.

Pleasure

Experience the home of the Gewürztraminer at first hand at various wine tastings or in the Traminer cellars.

In autumn "Törggelen" in the various wine taverns of Tramin.

Culture 

Experience culture on a visit to the Tramin Hoamet Museum, the Wine Museum in Kaltern or Tramin's numerous churches and residences.
